Gymnastics
The ProgramWe at AGC want our young people to have fun through perfecting personal performance! We have a year-long class program which is run via four 12- week sessions. Our programs mirror a proven itinerary outlined by USA Gymnastics ( a governing body of competitive gymnasts in the U.S.). AGC offers boy's and girl's pre-school & school-age gymnastics, in additin to dance, cheer, and tumbling classes. Class assignments are made according to age and skill level. The rate of individual progression will depend on age, natural strength & flexibility, practice habits, and self-determination. Those individuals who excel in classes will be given the oppourtunity to compete at a higher level of activity. The highest level of gymnastics at AGC is men's and women's team gymnastics. Team members are required to practice more hours per week than a class gymnast. Team members also participate in numerous competitive meets each year.
Designed to help young men and women build fitness and self-esteem through gymnastics training and related activites. The program will include basic gymnastics with the primary training focused on strength, flexibility, and coordination. Each individual will be encouraged to establish goals and then be shown, through skill level progressions, how to achieve these goals. The women's program will include basic gymnastics skills taught in the areas of floor, uneven bars, beam, vault, and trampoline. The men's program will include basic gymnastics skills taught in the area of rings, parallel bars, pommel horse, high bar, vault, floor, and trampoline. Weekly practices will contain the following elements: Group Warm-up, Event practice and Strenght Station work. Class assignment will be made according to age and skill level. We have two age groups our students are classified into --(5-7 yr.) & (8-12 yr.). Our gymnastics programs are taught by our attentive and enthusiastic staff. Staff are required to be safety certified and must have had gymnastics training. We pride ourselves in our commitment to provide your child with a positive gymnastics experience.

Swim
The ProgramOur mission is to provide swim lessons in a fun and safe environment. We want the children to learn the fundamentals of swimming and the skills needed to be safe in and around the water. Our program is derived from the American Red Cross "Learn-to-Swim" program. It has been adapted to fit the needs of our swimmers and our facility. The main goals of our program include: water readiness, water awareness, exploration, water adjustment, buoyancy, breath control, movement in the water, entering and exiting the water, and personal safety. Through games, drills, and other activities your child will master the aquatic skills that will last a lifetime.
